Rosemary and Thyme Meatballs

Rosemary and thyme are both flavour packed herbs and also work well together. Try these herby meatballs with the Christmas Turkey or make a simple tomato sauce to go with pasta for a hearty meal.


½ x 15g pack thyme, leaves removed from stalks
½ x 15g pack rosemary, leaves removed from stalks
454g pack 8 Cumberland sausages, casings removed
1 clove garlic, crushed
½ red onion, finely chopped


1. Preheat the oven to 180oC, gas mark 4.

2. Chop the herbs finely and mix with the remaining ingredients. Divide into 8 and roll into balls.

3. Place on a greased baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes until thoroughly cooked.
